Religious Instruction is provided to students whose participation is indicated on their enrolment forms or whose parents/caregivers have given written permission for them to participate. Other instruction is provided for students who do not participate in Religious Instruction. Other instruction may include, but is not limited to, personal research and/or assignments, revision of class work such as writing or literacy and/or numeracy activities which could include online programs currently accessed by the students of that school, and wider reading, such as independent reading appropriate for the student. Other instruction occurs in a separate location to where Religious Instruction is taking place (e.g. classroom). Students placed into Religious Instruction and other instruction are supervised by qualified staff for the duration of the instruction.
