Vibrant and welcoming, the Withcott State School Library aims to provide a warm, safe and interesting haven through caring staff, changing artwork, artefacts and displays and actively encourages curiosity, wonder, questioning, and interest in learning.
We promote and nurture a love of reading, history, science and culture and provide hands-on puzzles, games and manipulative toys to encourage children to develop social skills in sharing, taking turns and working with others.
As well as accessing the library in class time children may visit the Library before school, at lunch time and after school, to play a game, construct a toy, curl up in the reading corner, make a book, draw a picture, find a friend or access a computer.
